Three ways students use ARC | Mind.
Each group has a different purpose. Middle school combines immediate school support with long-term academic development, while high school places more emphasis on testing and independent work.
Middle School
Coursework + Ascend
Homework, projects, writing, test preparation, teacher feedback, and concepts that need reinforcement.
Reasoning, retrieval, unfamiliar problems, academic stamina, pacing, and the habits students need before high school becomes more demanding.
High School
Test preparation + independent work
Reading, mathematics, reasoning, pacing, accuracy, strategy, and repeated exposure to standardized-test style questions.
Independent schoolwork, studying, review, project work, or preparation for upcoming classes.
Private Support
One-to-one instruction
Private instruction can focus on a specific subject, writing, foundational gaps, accelerated work, or individualized test preparation.
Coursework helps students handle what is directly in front of them. Ascend develops what they will need next. PSAT / SAT preparation teaches them to perform when those skills are measured.

The closest class keeps the evening moving.
Belt bands still organize the regular Taekwondo schedule. The difference is that a student already moving between Mind and Motion does not sit idle waiting for a later belt block. The student joins the adjacent class, while instruction inside the room remains appropriate to rank.
A White–Purple student who is continuing into Ascend may use the 5:45 Youth class rather than finishing at 5:45 and sitting until 6:45. Rank still determines what and how the student trains inside the class.
A Blue–Black student finishing the academic block at 6:30 may join the 6:45 Teen class rather than waiting until 7:30. The student still trains at the appropriate level within that class.
01
BELT PLACEMENT
Does my child's belt still matter?
Yes. Belt band still determines the student's regular Motion class and the level of instruction they receive. The adjacent-class option only changes the clock time for students continuing directly between Mind and Motion.
02
THE RESET
Why keep the 15 minutes?
Because the goal is not to rush students. Even when classes are scheduled beside one another, students still receive time to get water, have a snack, change if needed, and mentally switch gears.
03
FAMILY TIME
What does this change for parents?
It removes the awkward situation where a child finishes one program but has to wait an hour simply because the student's normal belt block starts later. The evening remains supervised, purposeful, and easier to plan.
04
FLEXIBILITY
Does my child have to follow the connected path?
No. A student may attend ARC | Mind only, ARC | Motion only, or combine both. Motion-only students simply follow the regular belt-band class schedule.
The goal is not to squeeze more into the day.
Keep the structure. Remove the dead time. Mind stays Mind. Motion stays Motion. The schedule simply connects them more intelligently when a student uses both.
